Create UpNote account

You can use UpNote without an account, your notes will stay locally on device.

You will need to create an account if you want to:

• Sync notes on other devices

• Sync your premium on other devices

• Use lock function (it's recommended to create an account so that you can reset the lock password if you happen to forget)

You can create an account when you first launch UpNote, or follow the steps below to create an account if you are using UpNote without an account.

On desktop

1. Click the Settings button in the upper right corner of your UpNote window.

2. Go to My Account

3. Click Don't have an account?

4. You can select any of these methods to create your account:

   • Sign in with Google

   • Sign in with Apple

   • Sign up with your email and password

5. If you create an account with your email, you will receive a verification email sent to your mailbox. Click the verification link to verify your email. Verifying your email address will help secure your account. This will prevent others from using your email to register for an account and help to recover your account if you accidentally forget the password.

On mobile

1. Tap the ... button in the lower right corner of your note list screen and select Sync notes

2. Tap the Don't have an account? button

3. Enter your email and password to create account

4. You can select any of these methods to create your account:
