Change email and password
Follow the steps below to change your email and password:
On desktop
Go to
Settings>My AccountClick the dropdown arrow next to your email address and select the option to change email or password.
On mobile
Go to
Settings>My Account>EmailSelect the option to change email or password
If you see the error message “This email is already registered” when trying to change your email address, it means that the new email is already associated with an existing UpNote account. This can happen if you previously signed up using that email.
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Sign in to the account using the new email address
If you don’t remember the password, follow the password reset guide to regain access.
Review your notes in that account
Check if there are any important notes you would like to keep.
Delete the account (if no longer needed)
If there are no important notes, you can delete the account by going to:
Settings → My Account → Delete Account
Sign back in to your original account
Change your email address again
You should now be able to update your email to the new address successfully.
