Create nested notebooks

If you have many notebooks, you may want to group some of them under a parent notebooks to make it better organized and easier to navigate.

On desktop

  1. Right click on the parent notebook in the sidebar and select New Nested Notebook

  2. Fill up the detail of nested notebook

OR

  1. Click the + icon next to the NOTEBOOKS label in the sidebar to create a new notebook

  2. Select a parent notebook from the parent notebook dropdown as below:

On mobile

  1. In the parent notebook note list, tap the ... button in the lower right corner and select + New Notebook

  2. Fill up the detail of nested notebook in the new notebook screen.

OR

  1. Tap the + icon next to the NOTEBOOKS label in the sidebar to create a new notebook

  2. Tap Add to notebook section in the new notebook screen to select a parent notebook

Nest an existing notebook under another

If you want to nest an existing notebook under another notebook or change the parent notebook, you can do so quickly by editing the notebook and selecting the parent notebook from the parent notebook dropdown

To un-nest a notebook, select "Notebooks" in the top row.
