Lock password
Desktop
On desktop, the default lock password is your account login password.
If you’d like to change the lock password or set it to match your mobile passcode, you can do so by going to Settings > General > Lock > Change lock password. You’ll still be able to use your login password to unlock as well.
If you forget the lock password, you can click the Sign out link and sign back in with your account password. After signing in, the lock password will reset to your account password by default. You can then change it again in Settings if needed.
Mobile
The first time you enable lock for a notebook or for the whole app, you’ll be prompted to set a 6-digit passcode for easy access on your phone.
You can change this passcode anytime via Settings > Passcode Lock > Change Passcode.
Additionally, you can enable Touch ID or Face ID for unlocking by going to Settings > Passcode Lock > Enable Touch/Face ID.
If you forget your passcode lock, you can sign out and sign back in to your account. When you try to access a locked notebook again, the app will prompt you to reset your passcode lock.
