Protect notes from unwanted edits

Edit protection is a mode to prevent your notes from being edited accidentally. In this mode, your notes are open in a read-only mode and you need to click/tap the Edit button to edit your notes. This feature is available on all platforms.

On desktop

To enable this mode, go to Settings > Editor > enable Protect notes from unwanted edits.

To edit a note, click the button in the upper right corner of your note editor.

On mobile

To enable this mode, go to Settings > Editor > enable Protect notes from unwanted edits.

To edit a note, tap the button in the upper right corner of your note editor.
