Delete notes

UpNote allows you to manage your notes safely by first moving them to the Trash before permanent deletion. This ensures you can recover notes if you delete them by mistake.

Move a Note to Trash

• Open the note you want to delete.

• Click the More Options (...) menu or right-click on the note in the list.

• Select Move to Trash.

• The note will be removed from your notebooks and stored in the Trash.

Restore Notes from Trash

If you accidentally delete a note, you can recover it:

• Open the Trash from the sidebar.

• Find the note you want to restore.

• Right-click (or use the More Options (...) menu) on the note.

• Select Restore.

• The note will return to "All Notes" section.

Permanently Delete Notes from Trash

To permanently remove a note:

• Open the Trash from the sidebar.

• Right-click (or use the More Options (...) menu) on the note.

• Select Delete Permanently.

• ⚠️ Once deleted permanently, the note cannot be recovered.
