# Import from Google Keep

You can transfer your existing notes from **Google Keep** to **UpNote** by performing the following steps on **Mac** and **Windows** app:

1. Export your notes from Keep to **HTML** files following [this guide.](https://www.thewindowsclub.com/how-to-download-notes-from-google-keep-in-html)
2. Select the option to import from Evernote
   * On **Mac**:  Select `File` > `Import Notes` > `HTML` from the menu bar. 
   * On **Windows**: Go to `Settings` > `General` > `Import from HTML` 
3. You will see the pop up as below:\

4. Click  **`Select .html files/Select folder`** and select .html files/folder to import to UpNote.
5. Click  **`Import Notes`** button to import to UpNote
