# Unable to open attachments on Mac

If you’re unable to open attachments on Mac, please try the following:

1. Go to **Settings > Editor > Attachment > Save edited files to**.
2. Select **“Edit”** from the dropdown menu and choose the folder where temporary images should be saved again.

This will prompt macOS to grant the necessary access permissions to the UpNote app.
