Import from Simplenote
You can transfer your existing notes from Simplenote to UpNote by performing the following steps on Mac and Windows app:
Export your notes from Simplenote to a .json file following this guide.
Select the option to import from Evernote
On Mac: Select File > Import Notes > Simplenote from the menu bar.
On Windows: Go to Settings > General > Import from Simplenote
You will see the pop up as below:
Click the button Select .json files and select json files to import to UpNote.
Select the notebook you want to add your notes to (optional).
Click the Import Notes button to import to UpNote.
Please note that:
While we do our best to import data from other apps into UpNote, we cannot guarantee that your data format will be fully retained due to the variety of file sources and their elements. If you encounter any problems while importing, please let us know so that we can assist you in troubleshooting.
To ensure performance and fair use of server resources, bulk imports are limited if they would bring your account above 20,000 notes or 10 GB of attachments. In that case, you can import up to 50 notes at a time.
