# Import from HTML

Follow the steps below to import your HTML files to UPNote

1. Select the option to import from Evernote
   * On **Mac**:  Select **File > Import Notes > HTML** from the menu bar.&#x20;
   * On **Windows**: Go to **Settings > General > Import from HTML**&#x20;
2. You will see the pop up as below:\

3. Click  **Select .html files/Select folder** and select .html files/folder to import to UpNote.
4. Click  **Import Notes** button to import to UpNote

Please note that:

* While we do our best to import data from other apps into UpNote, we cannot guarantee that your data format will be fully retained due to the variety of file sources and their elements. If you encounter any problems while importing, please let us know so that we can assist you in troubleshooting.
* To ensure performance and fair use of server resources, bulk imports are limited if they would bring your account above 20,000 notes or 10 GB of attachments. In that case, you can import up to 50 notes at a time.
